Finding the right therapist is an important step, and feeling comfortable with the person you're working with matters. I provide a supportive, collaborative, and non-judgmental space where adults can explore life's challenges, better understand themselves, and work toward meaningful and lasting change.
Many of the individuals I work with come to therapy feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward. I work with adults (18+) experiencing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship issues, addiction, compulsive sexual behaviour, burnout, emotional regulation, ADHD, grief, self-esteem, life transitions, men's issues, and communication challenges.
As a therapist, I believe change happens when insight is paired with action. My approach is practical, structured, and collaborative, balancing psychoeducation, discussion, and real-world application to help clients develop practical coping skills and apply what they learn beyond the therapy space.
I have extensive experience supporting individuals within mental health and addictions settings, with a particular interest in men's mental health, emotional regulation, relationships, addiction, and personal growth. My experience working in an addiction treatment centre has also provided me with the opportunity to support individuals navigating addiction, trauma, grief, anger, emotional dysregulation, and stress and burnout.
I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based interventions, and other practical, skills-focused approaches tailored to each client's goals and needs.
My goal is to create a space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported while also being encouraged to explore what may be getting in the way of the life and relationships they want. Therapy can be an opportunity to develop greater self-awareness, build practical skills, and take meaningful steps toward lasting change.
